After the Lake ‘Incident’ in the Blue Cabin
More logs from Camp Undersoul. After curfew an incident occurred at the lake, Wander was brooding over having lost most of a day. In an off state of mind, he dove into the lake and began swamming towards the last paper boat still afloat there (one of his daughter creations). During this time, a group of curious campers broke curfew to investigate the mysterious happenings going on at the island, starting with the lake. Their presence stirred the parasite andcaused a tentacle to emerge from the lake. After the following fight, there was a bit of shouting from an angry and disappointed goopman as he sent the rule breakers straight back to their cabin.
Softy that he is, Wander went to check on the campers after he had calmed down, Alexis in particular who definitely got the worst of his scolding.

Piper's calm. They had been through most of this little escapade. It's the closest thing that came to anything that goes on on their life out of camp for sure.

"....." Another par of silence.. that is for a little while before.. ".... How can you be so sure..?" Cas' voice sound hush and more so croak, perhaps shaking even. He slowly eyes at Adie, his expression rather none.. besides fear..(edited)

He sees Alexis reaction and his (figurative) heart plummets. And was that another camper cowering under the blankets? May have been too harsh...he steps past Adie and towards Alexis. -Think I need to handle this one...'Lexis?- His voice is calm, no trace of either anger or icy rage in it.

-Heh, yeah...was going to be some yellin' whether you were there or not, so don't take that to heart alright? ...and what I said after, that was unkind. Shouldn't have been surprised to see you there. You're a good kid, helps folk. But next time, keep in mind. Sometimes the best way to help is getting people away from the trouble, away from a possible fight, and not joining it. Let the people whose job it is to handle that unpleasant work do it, alright?-

Including grumpy goopmen with loud voices heheh-
