What Hogwarts Houses I think the Newsies would be in
Some of y’all said you would like a Harry Potter Newsies au so I’m going to start with this!!!! It’s super fun so if you have any more opinions feel free to message me about it!!!
he’s very ambitious and does things that are best for himself often before thinking of others
he is an outstanding leader (which is something Slytherins value) and he’s cunning in getting people to buy papers and getting his way
I could also see him being a Gryffindor though
tbh I think Crutchie would be a hat stall
because it was a very tough call between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff
Crutchie honestly has all the courage and bravery in the world
he would very willingly fight anything
he tries to do things that might hurt himself for himself (i.e. climbing down from the penthouse without help)
he is very very loyal and has lots of Hufflepuff qualities
another Gryffindor characteristic is chivalry and Crutchie seems like the most chivalrous/polite guy ever
Davey thinks everything through and really values intelligence
he uses his wit to solve problems
and he’s always looking to learn new things
but always tries to make the wisest choices
but he could also fit as a Gryffindor
I could also see her being a Slytherin
like Davey she thinks everything through
and she uses her cleverness and wit to solve problems
she is also very creative (a Ravenclaw trait)
Les is literally the bravest
he is not afraid of anything and will stand up for anyone and anything he cares about
he’s very brave and willing to fight anyone over what or who he cares about
he stands up for what he believes in
and he doesn’t really care what people think about him
I could also see him fitting into Gryffindor, but I really just feel like he’s a Hufflepuff
he similar to Race in that he stands up for what he believes in
but he cares more about the human aspect
he’s incredibly loyal to his friends (i.e. carrying Crutchie)
but I also lowkey want to put him in Ravenclaw (because he seems very creative and curious)
he’s very very loyal and always looking to support his friends
also I feel like he has a lot of patience (a common Hufflepuff trait)
which you need in order to be friends with Race
I have no idea why, but he really just feels like a Slytherin
I imagine him being really good at getting what he wants
and like that he’s randomly really resourceful??
I mean it takes a lot of courage to go up to people and flirt with them
sounds like a Gryffindor to me
I don’t really know why, but this is what I’m feeling
I imagine him keeping his brother out of trouble and making wise, well-thought-out choices
and I imagine him always making very witty jokes
unlike his brother, he is an act first think later kind of guy
he is also very protective of his brother and his friends
but especially his brother
idk why but he just really feels like a Ravenclaw to me
I don’t know how else to explain
he seems very street smart and book smart to me, but like he doesn’t show it
similarly to Mush, he just feels like a Slytherin
he seems cunning, but like in an unexpected way?
also, he has the dirt on everybody and is very good at roasting people (which feels Slytherin-y to me)
super kind and will always follow and support his friends
I could also see him in Ravenclaw or Slytherin though so idk
he seems very brave and willing to fight for his friends
though he tends to think things through more than the stereotypical Gryffindor
also very resourceful like a Slytherin (i.e. slingshot)
sidenote: he’s definitely a beater on the quidditch team
honestly Elmer is the most Hufflepuff one on this list
he is the most loyal person ever
he reminds me of the personification of a puppy
i love him so much he is the embodiment of Helga Hufflepuff herself
willing to help anyone and literally the nicest
