Seeing Tom surfing makes me want to have sweaty sandy make out in the back of a vw bus before going to a barbecue.
Yeah, me too, dude. Me, too.
Can you write something about the reader being a little emotional from pms and crying over a movie that isn’t sad? Cuz I just cried watching pitch perfect 2.
hi i just got back from the gym and I’m dying, that means it’s working, right??
Anyway, for this I picked one of my very favorite movies and one that will never make anyone cry ever: Clerks. If you haven’t seen it, you should - it was the very first movie Kevin Smith ever directed, and if you work in retail it will speak to you. I aspire to be Randal but I’m probably Dante, anyway
**
Tom was home on a break for a few weeks, and he wanted to watch a movie that didn’t make him think too hard. So when Harry suggested Clerks, he figured the two of you should give it a go.
Things were going well for awhile. You found yourself really liking it, sympathizing with Dante not only getting called into work on his day off but have to work an open-to-close shift, and dealing with stupid customers. You liked Randal, and how he didn’t care about offending his customers (you wished you had that kind of bravado). And then, the scene where Silent Bob says his one line - “Y’know, there’s a million fine-lookin’ women in the world, dude. But not all of ‘em bring you lasagna at work. Most of ‘em just cheat on you.”
Suddenly, and inexplicably, you burst into tears.
Tom looks over at you, an odd expression crossing his features. “You... you okay?”
You point to the screen, still sobbing. “He’s right!” you exclaim. “Veronica loves him! Loves him! And he’s throwing it all away to try and get with Caitlin, and she’s engaged to an Asian design major! He has a good thing, why is he messing it up?”
Tom continues to stare at you oddly for a moment, then: “Is that... is that all?”
It suddenly strikes you: You’re being completely and utterly ridiculous.
“Well...” you sniffle slightly. “I think I might be getting ready to start.”
“That explains it.” Tom chuckles quietly, pulling you into his arms.
“Tom?” you say, voice muffled by his chest. “I promise to bring you lasagna at work sometimes.”
“I promise not to hook up with girls who’re engaged to Asian design majors.”
“Really?”
Tom nods. “Unlike Dante, I know a good thing when I have it. And you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Even when you’re overly emotional like this.”
You smile warmly at him. “Thanks for putting up with me, Tommy. I love you.”
“I love you, darling. Now, let’s finish the movie?”
I’m studying for my microbiology final and I’m dying. I just want peter Parker to come save me and take my test if he’s feeling like it. 😂
okay sis, me too
but good luck!!
I get the coffee thing. I’m a stem student and all year I live on coffee to get from my 5:30 am class to my 4 pm time to get out and then studying half the night. Come summer and I cut it to one cup a day and I’m dying for about a week lol
you’re a real trooper i could NEVER. mad respect for you, dawg. may your summer withdrawal be easy on you.
butwhyduh replied to your post “so if you guys didn’t see, i posted the last part of silence today!!!...”
I am going to school for nursing so you can send me Qs if you need. I can’t wait to read it.

Request a moodboard!
Soft Tom would know how to sew a button. He's been in theatre his whole life. You would definitely come home to see him sewing a button back on a sweater. "Tessa was too excited to see me."
it’s been weeks, almost a month since you last saw him and you’ve been so excited all day to go home because you knew he’d be there waiting asgsjkj
you already hear tessa’s excited barks and a little bit of tom talking to her all cute and you walk in and he’s sitting on the couch with a needle and thread and the shirt he should be wearing, in his hands
tess runs to greet you and you look at tom just confused but also so happy to see him that you aren’t sure whether to cry or laugh and you do a little of both????
“so our girl here was a little too excited to see me” he says and the button is back where it should be as he tosses the shirt aside and finally pulls you in for a kiss
“hm i can relate” you hum and trace your finger down his bare chest /thank u tessa/
“i missed you so much baby” and he pulls you into his arms and you stay like that for the rest of the night aW
I wonder if it’s not an alternate universe in far from home.
hmmmm thats,,,, hmm thats interesting.. i don’t know enough about Mysterio and all he can do but,,, thats a really interesting theory.
its possible. someone said this could also be somewhat of a set up to bring Miles in (Peter not wanting to be Spider-Man as much, new Spider-Man comes in so the responsibility is distributed a bit more, etc)
lets have a Far From Home discourse
