Idk why I have this tradition of basically putting every design I do for a character on one canvas, it's just fun to see what happens in the span of... What, months? Years???

I don't like the first one. Mostly because translating a color palette from a PAPER image was.... Hm. Especially because they weren't that seriously colored. And they're too plain. Not even grey or anything.

So it looks ehhhh. To me at least.

How'd we go from brightly colored to less colored. Idk. It just happens.

As you can see, the half of Soul's body becomes more and more dipped in shadow the more I remember, "wait, isn't he half dark in the video?"

And becomes more or less human the more time I draw him.

He has more stars in his hair at least.

Before this becomes another ramble of sorts, Imma end it here!

What I like most about The Executioner is how ridiculously sweet she is. She was forced to do all that and she still chose to punish herself?? She collects flowers and takes care of their graves?? She's so big and fuzzy and her face is adorable??? Weary, but happy??

Her character explores a different side of the people under The Old Faith. We get to save followers from sacrifices or the aftermath of a massacre, but it never goes any deeper than that. I enjoyed her dialogue during her boss fight.

In a world where most people are messed up in some way, she was like a breath of fresh air.

And her voice?? I'm killing everyone in sight/aff/vpos
