No need to worry so much about being misinterpreted as romantic. I assume all "I love yous" are platonic unless otherwise specified. And I hope everyone understands that all "I love yous" I say are platonic as well because I am aroace. To me, it is a sign of deep friendship/platonic intimacy if one can be trusted enough to send or receive an 'I love you' without feeling the need to specify '/platonic'. Does that make sense? I have no idea. 😅
