someone mentioned the trope of parenthood being thrust upon people who shouldnt be parents and now im just thinking about my au where guy and lobo have 3 kids together (ordering a baby from a lax alien surrogate company, alien parasite, and government clone) and theyre actually the gardner girls that show up in the second guy gardner warrior annual

crocker, the oldest, appears at lobo’s doorstep during the period where guy ends up taking like trips to lobo’s for months at a time because lumita (also introduced in the same annual who i headcanon as guy and tora’s daughter made via willpower) is staying with beatriz and tora during the school year. and fiff t tou (new 52 lobo) is living there too and helping lobo with the space dolphins because the pod has been growing a lot. fiff t tou knew that they got super drunk and ordered a baby and like hands them a parenting book and then goes back to reading whatever. guy calls tora for baby advice and soranik for doctor stuff and luckily crocker has the czarnina hardiness so shes fine. crocker is mostly homeschooled and also gets taught stuff by whoever ends up babysitting her

manzo, the middle child, is cut out of guy’s leg 12 years later after guy gets bit by a weird alien creature that was sentient but not humanoid and guy spends like a week in bed feeling like he’s dying before he gets help and soranik tells him that a baby just grew in his leg. she grows really fast and really tall eventually and has the ability to shapeshift but its got more options than guy’s weapon shapeshifting. manzo is also homeschooled after a series a bullying incidents at some earth schools.

buxton, the youngest, is found when she is six by the current justice league team when they find a government facility that was making clones of superheroes building off cadmus work from the 90s. it takes the justice leaguers a couple weeks to get to the information that tells them who her clone parent is since it wasn’t evident to them immediately. they ask guy if he wants to take her in and guy’s always had a soft spot for kids so he says yes. she’s wary of guy and lobo for a while but bonds immediately with manzo and crocker
