(ノ´_ゝ`)ノ i have devadas krishna, because i mention him a lot in passing, but i never really go into strict detail with him.
haven’t drawn him yet, but i’m using ben dahlhaus as inspiration. more indian-esque features, though.
let’s see here– he’s… 30 years old, or that’s what he says. he’s been around for a long time, and there’s really nothing that’s gonna change that. he’s a doctor– a black market one, to be specific. he works in his own corner in the streets of amistad, hosting a back alley “hospital” for “cheap” to those that can’t afford a normal hospital visit and for those that prefer some thing a bit more… alternative.
many would brush him off as a comic effect character, but it’s what he uses to his advantage. he comes off as super pleasant, really modest, very dandy-esque, and, above all else, accommodating. he’s a pretty normal looking guy, besides the… uh, arm– which is just a skinless structure of what a normal, human arm vaguely looks like.
it’s a bit of charade, though, because he’s actually a horrid personality in the sense that he’s absolutely obsessed with how the body reacts to various methods of pains, experimentation, and other procedures. he’s a popular source for snuff films– which is a sorta underground thing in amistad what with the various personalities and interests that flood it. he posts his own snuff films to a certain site, and what’s odd is that they’re all starring him as the person that it happens to. he also has a hobby of recording some of his patients undergoing certain treatments– one in particular being anton, whom he recorded the 7-8 hour long grueling process of regrowing his arm back using a gross mish-mash of trashed dna and chemicals.
other weird things he’s done: eaten parasitic worms that were of his own creation, licking people’s eyes, juggling jars of various organs, making a game using actual eyeballs, and he also has a collection of sex toys from various eras because aesthetic.
otherwise, he comes off as kinda nice? which is the worst part, since he holds himself pretty well in conversation. one would probably get suspicious with his overuse of certain phrases, though, seeing as he has a weird affection for the 1920′s and its lingo.
