you have a good point… i think the first syllable is a little different from ɑ but its the closest i could find? idk now i think im just weird bc my sister pronounces it [wʌbɑn] ?

I think your sister is weirder? I definitely haven't heard it pronounced like that. Yours sounds like what I've heard, except I think I've also heard people (probably mistakenly) put the stress on the second syllable.

Is the first vowel [ɐ], maybe? But I really don't get the whole business of which vowels can and cannot be stressed.

on a better note, though, i went streaking on severance green and skinny dipping in lake waban and it was awesome and cold and weird and like wow i can't believe that happened.

and now it is time for me to study for a psych midterm. at 1:43 in the morning.
