                                 ❛  you’re talking really fast && i can’t keep up with what’s going on  ❜ he tries to talk  faster  than her, but it ends up just making him tongue-tied. his hands are in front of him in DEFENSE, though there’s nothing to really be defending himself against her.    ❛  okay so----- you want to go to dinner? but it has to be REALLY nice, && you want to make sure people see us?  ❜ he tries to recap whatever it was she was saying as he stares at her, blinking wide, brown doe-eyes. ❛ but... i think my mom wanted to make lasagna tonight... i really like lasagna...  ❜

                  “ Soooo did you get Hyde to ask you to the dance yet ?? ” It’s simply in Dee’s nature to PROBE--- shoving her way into things that she really had no business getting involved in. She’ll raise her cup so that the straw meets her lips and takes a long drink of her iced coffee, manicured fingers of her free hand are tapping against the table rhythmically.  The pair are currently at the mall, shopping for dresses that they may or may not wear to the upcoming dance at school--- who could possibly predict if a dress they liked THIS WEEK would still make the cut by the time the dance rolled around ?? And in Dee’s case, there was always a tremendous possibility that her mother would make her feel like shit and she would stay home and cry instead... 

                  “ I think I’m going to ask Charlie... Just because it will piss my brother off. And he DESERVES it after the asshole slept with one my friends. You wouldn’t sleep with Dennis, right ?? ”
