More twst oc content because I've never talked about my boy Kalopi (portrait doesn't do him justice here, made him too girlish) :P

Based on the muse Calliope from Hercules, he and his brothers were adopted by the Jupiter family and they used to stay among other affiliated families/branches

Kalopi stayed with the Shroud but left few weeks before the Ortho incident and he has never gone back to the Island of Woe ever since

I imagined some sort of Olympos Inc. related event where he could appear, dropping by NRC to fetch Idia for a grand party that all the heir of affiliated families would attend (daughter of Hermes, son of Aphrodite, etc.)? Except for the flashy son/daughter of the Jupiter family who's too busy with sport competitions and all

On the way he'd find "Idia's friends" and take them along (was thinking Floyd, Lilia and Cater to antagonise him but it might be too unbalanced)

Really wanted Kalopi to sing too, he'd be running around with the main cast to find who tried to sabotage the party and it'd end with him singing alongside his siblings about the story of the Jupiter family or something

(was thinking some Pain and Panic ocs sabotaging the party but not with malice, they just wanted to enter the party, for Idia or Twisted Hercules can't decide, but it ended up snowballing into bigger problems the more they tried to fix things)

Anyway, back then I just wanted to kill two birds with a stone, aka I *needed* an oc of one of the Muse and I wanted to draw Idia in yet another fancy suit

HIII thank you so much! Turns out that chibis really are my strong suit lol Although I didn't expect someone to remember the club series I started to be honest ;;;

I have a hard time promoting myself so I don't know when I'll start selling them, and it has been a while since I've last sold anything...

I have to finish (and redraw some of) them and carefully organise them, then might put up an interest check or start a pre-order on my Etsy shop! I'll still have to redo my organisation and prices, last time was overwhelming even if everyone was adorable and understanding (which made it so much better) 🥹 I want to make something more memorable this time.

As for me to finish everything and organise, they'll probably be up by the end of February* at best or early April at most. Hope you'll be still be around by then hehe

Bit of ranting about the current event. I'm not East-african, but the Tamashina-Mina event (Cloudcalling is a cute name too) is hitting so close to home TT

Sunset Savanna is more representative of subsaharan Africa as a whole than specifically Tanzania/Kenya, but I still found it to be enjoyable. Leona might be at play too lol

The market was *chef kiss*

The one in game is much more brighter than the Central Market at my place and they obviously leaned into a more "exotic" look. But I still kicked my feet like a child, it has been a while since I've went to it

Also, every time they mentioned a specific dish I was like "I recognise that!". Like Zobo? Steamed Plantain (yuck tho)? It brought back memories haha

Obviously there're some iffy points, I couldn't find anything about Tanzanian dishes looking like crêpes or even moutton sauté (we generally grill goat meat or cow meat in small cubes, not lamb), but it didn't make it any less enjoyable

I also like the disparity in views when it comes to they should deal with nature within politics. They didn't stay too long on the subject but since it's a current topic within subsaharan Africa, I found it to be a nice touch.

The event's main focus is the festival (I want to go to the one at home too...), but I still wish we could see more about Sunset Savanna. I'm excited for Ruggie and Leona's dream so we can get more crumbs, there's not enough world building to satiate my thirst :(

Witch Hat Atelier's anime just released and I can't express just how excited I am! Can't watch it yet so I'm a bit bummed out...

Along with Dunmeshi, it's been my main inspiration for my art and world building these past few years although I started it quite late (volume 10 I believe?) and I'm just tearing up in excitement at the few scenes I've seen so far 🥺

(I've collected almost every official goodies in my country, from plushies to wax, puzzles, etc. I'm so soft for this manga)

Just managed to beat Lilia's dream after MONTHS (made me abandon the game ngl). Speedran (speedread?) the story to see my glorious Rook and his dream

Rook's yapping was pretty endearing, and I immediately thought of Fuoco who would have hated it lol Vil being all cute and friendly with Neige and Rook fanboying would have been his last straw

He has been well over his obsession for Vil by the time of Book 7 and his dream. But I feel like he still hates Rook, and his pride as a previous hardcore fan would take over

"Coglione, did you just imagine Vil hugging Neige? *offended*" He'd prob say something along those lines and complain a lot

(gave him his long hair back here but they'll stay short past Book 4. Should probably go back to my twst ocs)
