I was really intrigued by the Cory Topanga relationship in this scene. I was like, oh, we're, we're in like the horn dog stage. Like you guys are like making out and like you did like a lick thing like did you notice that?...Like, as you're leaving. I was like, whoa, this is. -Rider

I know. I don't know what's going on over there, but they are having a good time. So he jokingly asks, is anyone surprised by that? Turner tells Shawn the clock is ticking. Shawn reminds John. He's not his guardian anymore. He's back with his parents, so he'll be fine. Turner argues, your parents are busy trying to work out their marriage and then he points to Cory and Topanga. So are they. Cory and Topanga have a little lovey-dovey moment about making out in the library. And then I do a weird lip lick thing and we walk out. -Danielle

I think it's to show that Shawn really doesn't think he has much like Cory's got Topanga and so Shawn doesn't really have much in his life. I think that's probably the plan. -Will

I noticed this very, this is like so insider and I, I don't think it's conscious, but like in this scene for one of the first times I actually, I keep my back to the camera. -Rider

And I do it multiple times in this episode. -Rider

I love that you noticed it. I think it's a directorial thing that you notice it Danielle. Because it is, we, I never, you never do that. Never. You just don't turn your back to the cameras. And I am doing it multiple times in this episode and I've never done it before. Because once I saw it I was like, whoa, what, what's weird about this? And I think it's kind of cool. Like, because I think it's Shawn turning his back on people and like Shawn avoiding being open and not being like, and it's like this weird, and I don't know if, I mean, maybe there was a conscious conversation between me and Jeff McCracken, I don't know. But it really is effective. You can see the way I'm like, Ugh. It's not just turned away from Shawn, but I'm closing off or from Turner, but I'm closing off. -Rider

But I'm telling you, you can, you can super critique it. 'cause it's you. I I was in, I was like, this to me feels like, although I had written all my little criticisms throughout it, this payoff for me when we revealed you had a brother and that was the underlying angst you had been feeling and the thing you weren't sure how to handle all of that felt like worthy and like a worthwhile rollercoaster ride. I loved it. So this to me was kind of where I had my Cory/Topanga Garfunkel montage moment for Cory and Shawn. -Danielle

I didn't remember this at all. But we had people come to our live show dressed in these cheerleader outfits....what I have a memory of is a photo that was taken on the set this day....Someone has it I don't know who. -Rider

I think I have it. I have a polaroid of you guys in this outfit. -Danielle

Which I never remembered what that was from. I was like is that form Chick Like Me? Why are we in cheerleader outfits? But it's funny because the reason I wouldn't remember this is because we only did it one day. It's a costume gag....It was obviously like you know an hour of my life....Chick like me we were in makeup it's a whole thing. So I remember that...it's funny though. It's a funny gag. -Rider

Yeah. The kissing in this episode is from, it's probably the most intense kissing that Cory and Topanga  have had. -Rider

Yeah. Well, we don't know. You just normally can't see me behind my horse hair. Maybe I've been doing that the whole time. But I have this wig on and now we get to see. -Danielle

You're doing all the work. Ben is just like sitting there. Yeah. He's just taking your kiss and you're like. -Rider

And Cory assures them, if we devote the next two weeks to studying in the library, we got no problem. And just in time we get an optical flip. The camera cuts to Cory and Shawn at various locations with their unopened books in their laps not studying. And they're at home, watching TV at Turner's, watching TV at Chubby's... -Danielle

Chubby's has a tv suddenly. -Rider

Apparently. I know that's where you go for everything in this town is Chubby's. -Will 

 It does make sense that Chubby's would be the sports bar burger place. That like that they would have a TV for that kind of thing. We've just never utilized it. So I love that they did it. -Danielle
