❝Unexpected Encounter❞ | Kiriko & Dominic
People scattered through the vast space. It wasn’t a common thing for Dominic to host such a large party, he usually went to other’s. He rented out this club space for the night to reward loyal business partners and to meet potential new ones. He had body guards strategically placed throughout the area just in case something were to happen. He could hold his own but he would rather pay someone else to do something than for him to do it himself.
With alcohol to loosen him up and attractive women surrounding himself he was in his element. He could handle his liquor well, and there was a guarantee that at least one of the numerous women present would spend the night with him later on. But for now he just decided to have a good time and enjoy this occasion. The music was blasting and the stereos were shaking with the high volume. People crowded together as they all danced to the rhythm. And soon Dominic was one of them.
He danced with a drink in his hand that he splashed a couple drops of on the floor. He smiled and interacted with the people around himself obnoxiously.
When he calmed down a bit he scanned the room, he was more observant than people give him credit for. He squinted as he saw someone in the distance who seemed familiar. He thought to himself, "No... it couldn't, could it be?" His curiosity lead him to approach the familiar female figure. As he got to a close enough distance and could finally make out her face he let out a boisterous laugh, "Look who it is!" He moved close into her ear shot and stood pretty close to her. He leaned to her side and took a sip of his drink, “Well I’ll be damned you’re that runaway.”
He joked with her even though he never clearly got the details on the situation, but the word traveled quick. He'd heard things such as she just disappeared one day to there was a brawl to other exaggerated stories. Dominic was good at keeping things to himself, but now that he's intoxicated his thoughts loosened themselves. This situation humored him to say the least. He knew she had run away but he never would've thought of all places she would end up here.
He rose an eyebrow and a smirk crawled upon his lips, "Remember me?" After the question he chuckled "Oooh this is just too good. Girl wonder at my party? I'm flattered."
