Happy birthday Trent Reznor! Here’s my third art from NIN eras series I started to draw last year, now it’s The Downward Spiral art. And here are two previous arts I posted on @amadeux earlier:

I'm still here. I have a couple of messages in my inbox I need to sort out. I recently completed a commercial illustration online course, and now I have more free time again. However, this Dreant sketch is also part of the task but for the character illustration course.
So... I'm back? A few updated will be announced soon! @miercoles-wednesday I know you love this guy!
NineInchella will stay forever in my heart. Such a strong team. And I love the new NIN album so much!
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross but make them Tapeworm members
I'm so fascinated by the lore of Trent Reznor's defunct project Tapeworm that I decided to get an old sketch out of the bins and bring it to mind. Initially, it was just a simple Trentticus (kinda) art in a gentle Y2K-ish style, but the ways of my imagination are unfathomable, so in half an hour I turned a drawing into a faded page from a fictional music magazine O.X. Music Press.
FOR INFO: Tapeworm is a now defunct supergroup made of Nine Inch Nails members Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, Danny Lohner, Josh Freese, Jerome Dillon and Charlie Clouser, Tool and A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan, Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo and other guest musicians. Be Kind To Them is the name of one of the unreleased Tapeworm songs, after which I named the potential album. In reality, the band never released any records, and in 2004 Trent announced that the project was done.
References: Trent's cozy look from 2001-2002 and Atticus's helix piercing from 2002.
So, this is the first post on this blog. My main blog is @amadeux, and not so long ago I decided to set aside a separate page for my artworks. Welcome!
The synth faggot and his only friends in a warm place My long-term artwork which grew out of a pretty bad sketch is finally done. It's probably the most outspoken Trent art I've done so far. An allegory of Reznor's mental condition during the period of his imperial phase of TDS era (the term of creative and commercial peak invented by Neil Tennant from Pet Shop Boys) and this phase was a heavy burden for him. A lot of interviews and evidences were read and reviewed before understanding what details and references I wanted to add here. I encrypted several aspects of his life at that time. I think it will be interesting for you to find them. I also like noisy textures. Thanks to bornwarm photos from NIN concerts for inspiration. Noise is the personification of mystery, ambiguity and also loss and abandonment. The Trent's pose is the only moment of pretentiousness here. I like to draw ideas from the classicism and romanticism art. But there is a personal tragedy behind this beauty. A broken soul who is lost in a world of betrayal, fake friends, drugs and alcohol. And all he has left is music and a safe distance from everything that strikes at his wounded psyche. A warm place.
Happy birthday to the king himself, the one and only Atticus Ross!
