project: akali headcanons so far:
akali has been damaged/corrupted-- not infected-- in conflict, and now only performs her most basic function of protecting the destroyed temple grounds.
she is geographically confined to a mile-wide diameter circle on the coordinates of the ruined temple
she is hostile toward any intruders-- even organic lifeforms
she can be leashed by leaving the diameter of her circle-- she resets and immediately dumps the intruders information; if they were to re-enter the temple grounds she would not recognize them but run through her hostile welcome warnings again
this state of being was possibly enacted on her by project: zed-- bless @unseen-blades for feeding my BIG ANGST-- as an alternative to destroying her
she sometimes has flickers of recognition or awareness that she has been stuck in a routine, or of frequent intruders-- visitors-- and conversations or interactions they’ve repeated
episodes of recognition are punctuated by more garbled/skipped vocalizations and physical agitation
