The Life and Times of Elliot Paxton Mercier
At age 12, Elliot realized that he was bisexual after he developed a crush on his dad’s criminal informant. It was also the same age that he attempted to take his life.
At age 19, Elliot attempted to take his life for the second time by jumping off of the roof. However, his body managed to survive the fall and he ended up in a coma for seven months. His family and friends was met with an amnesiac Elliot when he finally woke up from his coma. His memory slowly came back to him and he was able to finally start his freshman year at George Washington University when he was 23.
At age 36, Elliot is the youngest senator in Illinois state history. Along with being the first openly bisexual senator in American history, Elliot regularly advocates for awareness for mental illnesses . He is happily married to his husband Peter Chung (Daniel Henney FC) and has one daugther and one son.
