2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

Well, I’ve already written most of my next prompt fill, and idk what exactly I’m going to write with the other ones I have left yet, so I think the only project that I can think of that I’m looking forward to writing something in is the Julia Survives Ravens Roost AU. I’ve been pretty good at writing out scenes that I get really excited about before they leave my mind for the most part, but I have had to stop myself from writing scenes that happen directly in the middle of an arc because I actually made a Julia Burnsides character sheet and am rolling to see when she succeeds at things or not and to figure out fights as they had happened in the podcast lol so it would be hard to figure out what items she has and what her stats are at any given point when I’m bouncing around and haven’t gotten there yet from writing from the beginning. Especially since she’s going to multiclass later on 🤫 (spoiler, she’s a fighter who dabbles in artificing lol) So I think the things I’m most excited to get to that I can’t get to right this second is probably the battle wagon races and the eleventh hour lol (my two most favorite arcs). I do also have the scene of immediately after they defeat Legion and the conversation with Lucretia after they destroy the Philosopher’s Stone in my head that I could write out, which I should so I don’t forget it lol And also I really want to explore her relationship with Leon (Leon deserves to have a best friend poor dude sldhflgdsklgh) and her relationship with Angus.

4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)

I think right now the paragraph I’m most proud of is this paragraph (technically two paragraphs) from my latest prompt fill I titled One Last Dance on AO3 because of the emotional impact it has in context with the rest of the ficlet.

They clasp hands, and Kravitz puts his other hand on Taako's shoulder as Taako puts his other hand on Kravitz's waist, and they begin to waltz. It's quiet, as most endings are. The birds flying over head sing their songs, and the slight breeze rustles the grass and the trees. The cicadas' buzzing turns the background noise fuzzy with the sounds of a typical summer evening. The only thing missing is the laugh of children at the park behind them at the bottom of the hill and the hum of city travel below them. The sun sinks farther and farther below the horizon, and Kravitz holds out his arm for Taako to spin before he brings him back in to waltz some more.

The air is hot and sticky, and the smell of fresh grass is being slowly replaced with ozone, burning rock, and fire. Kravitz dips Taako backward, and the light of the asteroid reflects back to him in Taako's eyes. Kravitz's eyes start to well up as he stands him back up, and Taako hugs him, resting his chin on his shoulder. “I think it's time to go to Magnus' party,” he whispers, and Kravitz nods.

I’m especially proud of the line “It’s quiet, as most endings are.” I feel like I really captured the hopeless nature of facing a catastrophic and unavoidable death in the apocalypse when you’re two of the only handful of people left to witness it and totally, deeply in love.

(Also honorable mention, I just love the entirety of the fic A Song of Love Played Ad Infinitum which is a pretty long blupjeans ficlet centered on Lup and her and Barry’s song as their relationship develops in the Legato Conservatory and beyond. I worked really hard on that one and love it to death, but it never got much traction on here if memory serves, and it definitely didn’t get much traction on AO3 :( you can find it here if you’re interested 👀)

22. Do you reread your old works? How do you feel about them?

All of the time lol I write a lot of them for other people for sure, but they are also incredibly self indulgent. What’s the point of writing something if you’re not going to come back to read it again and enjoy it; you know? :)

(Also, I’m going to throw in this freebie since this is the last ask for the ask game, and I really wanted to be asked this:

20. Tell us the meta about your writing that you really want to ramble to people about (symbolism you’ve included, character or relationship development that you love, hidden references, callbacks or clues for future scenes?)

I won’t ramble on because I’ve already done way more than enough of that tonight lol but I put references to other fics I’ve written all of the time and even have a series on AO3 that is just Stolen Century stories that I reorder as I write them so that they are in timeline order. Some of them also reference Stolen Century stories that I wrote during the November Celebration thing which got put into it’s own multi chapter story so I couldn’t add it to the series, but there’s call backs in a lot of things I write. Also, there’s reoccurring mentions of characters that live in Ravens Roost and a fic between Magnus and an OC during that time called Is It Worth It? which is basically Magnus trying to convince a clock maker to join the rebellion. Then in the November Celebration, I wrote a sequel fic called Was it Worth It? which is Magnus coming home to find Ravens Roost in ruins. And in that fic, when he sees Julia, well, I included these lines :)

Magnus stumbles over Steven’s body to get to her. She’s laying face up with a broken dresser pinning her to the ground. Her arms are laying splayed at her sides as if she had been holding the dresser when she fell. Her eyes are still open and staring at the sky above, reflecting the image of the sun in both of them as if two suns have claimed her soul. She’s beautiful.

And she’s gone.

And like, I felt really proud like get it guys? Get the symbolism? Two suns in her eyes? Two sun world? Get it? But like, no one said anything about it, so idk if people missed it or not, so this is my incredibly awkward, shoe horned in way of saying get it guys? Do you... do you get it? Ba dum tss *jazz hands*)

i think the beard, nape, cleft chin and the hair are the most attractive parts of messi. could you think im crazy but im really want to touch them, absolutely they are so great. most is the beard ^^ and thumb sucking too :D

His beard is the cutest :))) and I love his dimples, his shy smile <3333 I could talk about him forever. So I understand how you feel ;)
