Mischo Beauty has made quite the impression this fashion season with its 5 free luxury nail formula by showing off their twelve vivacious tones on the runway!
Designers were quick to snatch up the fabulous and trendy shades for the debut of their collections at New York City’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The long-lasting and chip-resistant polishes have been a buzz in the industry! What’s more exciting is that they are made without the five harmful toxins - formaldehyde, DBP, toluene, formaldehyde resin, and camphor, that are still found in most formulas on the market today.
Nail artist, Ajahmure Clovis and company from HerNailsRock, used Mischo Beauty’s shade “The Tents” from the Fashion Week Collection on the models at Juan Carlos Obando. The full naturally shaped nails were buffed and polished in a double coat of the peachy shade.
Glam squad - Christina Rinaldi, Illy Luciano, and Eda Levenson, applied limited edition nail lacquer “Catwalk” to glamorize the model’s nails backstage at Ostwald Helgason. This manicure was very creative and edgy, drawing on the gray-tone and adding a mattifying topcoat to either side leaving a glossy stripe down the face. The color “Catwalk” will hit it big later this fall in limited quantity on Mischo Beauty’s website www.mischobeauty.com.
At the By Misha presentation, manicurist Angel Williams used several shades of the Fashion Week Collection to create a reverse French manicure with colors: The Tents, Invite Only, Front Row, Backstage Beauty, Lincoln Center, and #NYFW.
Similarly, nail artist Christina Rinaldi was inspired to use shades "The Tents" as a base and added pops of color on the tips using "Billie" and "Empire State of Mind" for a fun and funky contrast.

Lucky for us, By Misha held her Autumn/Winter 2014 presentation indoors at the Lali Lali Gallery in SoHo. Powerful women of the past were Misha’s inspiration for her newest collection, titled “Eloquence.” Each look featured misty hues of charcoal, blush, teal, navy, and ivory.
Over 140 guests piled in to the posh event space to view and take pictures of the garments and accessories through strings of glittering lights, stacks of gracefully bound books, candles and flowers.
Prive Salon’s team of incredibly talented hair stylists created a large and voluminous sock styled double-bun. The updo was pinned into two eye-catching spheres on each model’s head – one atop the other.
Kai Vinson of Bobbi Brown created a feminine natural look using a smoky-nude palette. The makeup was soft and ladylike focusing on fresh flawless skin, a defined eyebrow, and rose colored lipsticks and blush.

Guests of the event were happy to receive a python skin mini-clutch of their very own all whilst munching on delicious champagne cupcakes by Meg’s Sweet Treats and tea cocktails by The Owl’s Brew!
