       My flying lessons were so much better, now.

         I was still a bit clumsy with a broom, but Connor... Professor McAlister... he was such a lovely teacher. He was so patient with me, and taught me all of the correct methods of riding a broom, until I wasn't fallin' off so much. Which was always a good thing.

        Sort of helped that we were still dating, too. He was so lovely. We had a flying lesson together every evening, once the other students were in their common rooms. We'd always get distracted by snogging each other, and just the thought of kissing him put the biggest smile on my face. He was so open and honest about being a werewolf, and that really helped me to understand him more as a person, and not just my teacher.

         Tonight was our proper first date, too. Connor promised me that he'd take me to Hogsmeade, for a date in the Three Broomsticks. Just me and him, away from the school. I was so desperate to love him properly, and I couldn't wait until I graduated, 'cos we could be together.

Adrian didn't go to bars much. There was just something about being an English teacher that made the experience not very comfortable. Yet, it's been a while, and he had just had a bad break up, so he thought, why not? Thank god it was Friday. Unfortunately, the bar was packed. He looked around, awkwardly shifting his feet, for an empty spot. He finally found one and quickly walked toward it before someone else could claim it. It was rather close to someone else, so he exhibited the appropriate polite behavior.  "Sorry...may I sit here?"

Once upon a time in a land far, far away, there sat a splendid kingdom upon a hill. The King and Queen were beloved all throughout the land. While there were rumours and whispers and prophecies of mythical beings and beasts brought down from the heavens to cause havoc among the kingdom and slay the King, the kingdom itself had known peace for a long, long time.

It was perfect.

Too perfect, for Princess Clara...

"Nope. Nuh-uh. Newp," I shook my head in disapproval. My father had lined up several men in the Great Hall who he thought would be suitable as my groom. It was only just my birthday two days ago, and already my life has been signed away to marriage in order to keep the kingdom's future secure.

It wasn't fair.

"He's too short, even for my standards," I dismissed one man, and pointed at another. "And I apologise, father, but his breath stinks!"

"Clara, you must choose one of these men," My father replied sternly and gave me a look of utter disappointment. "If not now, then when? We can not afford to wait."

"I don't want any of these men!" I argued, throwing a strop right there and then. "I want to fall in love with a man of my choice, father!"

"This is not open for debate, Clara," My father replied harshly, storming off and yelling for one of the guards to escort the other men out of the Hall.

I flopped down onto one of the dining seats, tears welling in my eyes. I had read the most beautiful stories of princesses falling in love with a man of their choice, not a man who was chosen for them. That is not how destiny works, my father cannot control destiny and fate! My own destiny is chosen by the gods, and my father is no god.

Oh, what to do?

The Full Moon || @by-the-light-of-the-full-moon

S'a full moon tonight.

The first... proper full moon with Connor. Since I was bitten.

I'd managed to get my mate Nina to babysit overnight for Faolan, while Connor took me out to a safe place. We drove out on his motorbike until we reached a quiet park, absolutely deserted at night and featuring a huge lake in the middle. It was beautiful under the starlight. Me and Connor would be safe here, as wolves. There was plenty of wildlife.

"Were you scared, for your first moon?" I asked Connor once we'd gotten off the bike, and I immediately cuddled him. God, I love him.

The TARDIS has encountered by-the-light-of-the-full-moon

                   The TARDIS was traveling alone through the time vortex. Her thief was gone and she was all alone. No more Doctor, no more companions. Just the matrix and her empty box continuously drifting through time and space.

                                                                         At least, they were. 

                 The TARDIS lurched forward, then side to side, up and down.

                                   ....Falling.

   The box was falling out of the vortex. She didn't want this! Her human form constructed itself in the console room, tumbling around her own shell as it did so. Just barely, she managed to get up onto her feet, grasping onto the railing of her console, squinting at the screen in front of her.

                                                                                                   "--What?!"

     The matrix was hurled to the side of the platform due to her own shell's actions. Then, nothing. The ship had stopped. The monitors went black. Idris stood up, dusting off her dress.  "What in the name of Gallifrey was that?" she breathed, glancing back over her shoulder to the doors, cautiously approaching them and sticking her head out.

                                                           ".......Hello?"
