🖋My Favorite Drug

I never believed in love at first sight until we met. The stars shined all so bright, I will never forget.

You were standing next to me at the football game shivering like a cold child. It was then when you got the courage to ask my name and I instantly smiled.

I felt the connection right away and I know for sure you felt it too. Love was handed to me in a sliver tray with beautiful eyes color green and blue.

We spent the rest of the night together walking around talking about our day. No matter the terrible cold weather nor that it was late we both decided to stay.

Our time ran up and I had to go in, you walked me back and said goodbye with a hug. I felt happiness come from within, who would have thought you’d be my favorite drug.

🖋 Sweet & Sad

I fuck him because I love him and his heartbeat drives me mad. He smells like scars and stale cigars but his lips taste sweet and sad. His arms are thick but they make me sick when they’re wrapped around her waist. He belongs to me but I didn’t see his heart has no more space. His eyes are pale like the lonely gales that tear apart the shore. He says goodbye but his hungry sighs only leave me wanting more. I watch him move like he’ll never lose and my pulse begins to jump. I kiss him cause I miss him and I’ll never be enough. He wants me on the weekend but he’s not sure how to love. His mind changes like a current; manipulation from above I’d be fine with being lost in him but I can’t get him to leap, I don’t see him in the hallways but I touch him in my sleep. Dreams can taunt and torture when it’s inconsistent pain He’s never said it but I know for sure he doesn’t feel the same He’s not sure what to call me but i love to moan his name If sex is so sadistic I’ll take all the fucking blame I’m drunk but when my mind goes numb i see him clear as day His smile fucks my vision up I wanted him to stay We both have so much baggage it’s not gonna go away I know she really hurt him and I know he has that weight My friends know that when he’s close to me my hands begin to shake

God I know that I don’t need him but he sets my chest on fire I wanna breathe him in and taste his grin it doesn’t feel so minor

🖋 Always In My Dreams

He’s always in my dreams and I can’t get him out of my mind making me go crazy day and night.

I still wake up in tears and miss every part of him but after all this time I know I have to pretend I’m alright.

We say we’re friends and sometimes we send each other photographs but we both know we’re just being polite.

All my feelings are alive and he still puts color in my life but for him it has all turned black and white.

He doesn’t miss me anymore, he’s glad I’m no longer around, he hasn’t said it to me but it’s something his eyes can giveaway.

No matter what I do, no matter what I say, he just keeps pushing me away and God knows I’ve tried to make him stay.

I miss the touch of his skin, his soft smile and his beautiful eyes but most importantly I miss the way he loved me back.

I can’t let go cause I’m still in love, I want him back cause he’s as addicting to me as to others is crack.
