FORTY-EIGHT | RALLIE
Callie just blinked, sitting back against the bistro chair. She had her pen in her hand still, idly playing with her pen as she listened to her boyfriend go off on her about how stupid she was for putting her faith in the hands of the internet. She was doing well at the whole “internet” thing. She had followers across all platforms. She was starting to represent certain brands and she was really liking where things were heading. At the mention of traveling to California he just lost it, tired of following her and taking pictures for, what he claimed was, nothing. Getting broken up with was not in today’s plans. She looked up, trying to make sure that no one was about to see her cry (on a busy Chicago street) when she locked eyes with him.
