so eclipse fed dynamic in this au is basically vi dragged along subz his former conmate in order to find the legendary lifesteal heart sovi can become nigh immortal (vi offered to share but subz doesnt wanna live forever)

eventually they come across the notorious prince turned rebel turned pirate zam who was looking for his missing bestie pangi who just straight up disappeared one day (they were voyaging in the open ocean when suddenly nobody on the crew could find him after he went to get something from the poopdeck when he was literally just eating dinner with them five mins ago)

when they first come across him he had a whole crew (team awesome + some unimportant bg chars) who decided to kidnap them cause of vis knowledge about powerful artifacts that the captain ro has been looking for for ages

originally ro was planning to keep them prisoners until they find what theyre looking for but vi let slip some info that zam thought would be helpful in finding pangi so he freed the two of them in the middle of the night

they almost managed to escape undetected but then mapicc felt restless that night and couldnt sleep so he went outside and found the three of them in the middle of untying a rowboat and then he tried to kill them

zam sustained heavy injury during the fight so subz and vi took care of him as best as they can while travelling

in this moment in specific, zam is disguised as a princess but blew his cover when he stabbed mapicc
