When Stephanie got Baker’s text that she was almost to the house, she had Ophelia give her a little pep talk before she met her girlfriend at the door, smiling sweetly as she came up the steps. “Fuck, don’t you look absolutely breathtaking?” She pulled her in for a much needed kiss, letting out a soft laugh against her lips. “I’m trying not to be so nervous, I know this is gonna be great. You ready?”

“We’re supposed to get a group of high schoolers at the gallery today. I’m gong to have to borrow my brother’s vape pen before I go in.” Stephanie joked as she pulled one of Baker’s shirts over her head and made her way into the kitchen. “So if I’m irritable later, you know why.” She smiled and leaned in to kiss her over the counter. “Good morning, beautiful.”

“So what do you think?” Steph smirked as she gave Baker a good look at her bathing suit before dragging the camera back to her face. “And to think I only paid ten bucks for this suit. Live is really that good. How’s your sandwich?”

“Yes, yes I promise I’ll call you first thing when I’m home tomorrow.” Stephanie gave Emmett a hug and kissed his cheek before getting out of the cab they had shared and straightening out her dress before making her way towards Baker’s apartment. She knew she was drunker than she should have been but she couldn’t find it in her to care very much, she hadn’t been this excited about spending time with someone new since she had met Emmett. She took a deep breath before heading inside, knocking on her door three times before she did her best to seem semi sober as the door opened. “Did someone order a drunk white girl with an incredible sense of style?”
