She raised her eyebrows in surprise at Eric's last statement. “Now, now, where's your confidence gone, my dear? Maybe I'll find the sight quite interesting.”

“Are you sure? That doesn't sound like it.” The song Eric was playing really did sound a bit strange. It wasn't the music itself, but rather the words that the singer had obviously chosen for his song.

He couldn't identify a single one, so he was all the more surprised when Eric explained that it was English.

Spending the day with Eric was something Robert never thought he’d be doing. He wondered how the day would go, setting up the baby room for Alison while she was out and it was just the two of them. Knowing the younger man didn’t quite trust Robert would definitely make the day interesting- fully prepared to try and make peace. Baring gifts of coffee and pastries, Robert hoped the peace offerings were enough as he knocked on the front door and waited nervously.

Eric saw his nephew walk in. “Hey. I didn’t think you’d ever come back.” He walked up. “You’re parents went out. They told me they’d be back in a few hours.” He smiled at his stunning nephew. “You’ve turned into quite a stunner.” He was above the age of adulthood, and technically they were related because of marriage. “So strong.”

“I am glad we got out of there when we did. I think my feet might fall off from dancing too much.” Iris laughed as she walked along with Eric swinging their hands softly as she did.

Ariel was excitedly dancing along as music blared out of a speaker somewhere. Pride was such a happy time and the young woman was glad to be a part of it. Spotting someone she knew just a bit away in the crowd she happily ran over. “Hey stranger long time no see!”
