I feel my five year old self seething every time someone refers to me as a beginner artist. Like five year old me didn't start studying art since crayon days only for fourteen years later be called a beginner.

I spent way too many years on this to be called an amateur. I don't care how you judge what makes someone a new or amateur artist. I've been drawing longer than windows eight has existed.

In my opinion as soon as you can label and draw basic shapes you're already halfway there.

Artist is not a skill level you have to qualify for. If you make art you're an artist. And I don't wanna see people putting themselves down for being new to it. YOU'RE ART IS AMAZING AND YOU'RE SO FREAKING TALENTED I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND YOU DESERVE THE WORLD (PLATONIC)
