Taima awoke from her slumber and immediately met the feeling with scrutiny. There was rarely a night when she’d slept so peacefully and yet, she could not remember a single time she’d awoken during the night. She rubbed her eyes once and, with her vision cleared, she looked around. Heart pounding quickly, Taima noted that her surroundings were not the same that surrounded her prior to her sleep. Looking to the right, she placed her eyes upon the one who tried to touch her bracelet and her brow furrowed in confusion.
