Jemma had been anxious all day long, since Juno had texted her to let her know that she had a possible romance occurring. She attempted to get though the day at work through being highly distracted by thoughts of it all. It had been years since her sister was in a relationship, and she didn’t want to think about what could go wrong. She’d already let Juno know that she trusted her judgement, but she was beginning to doubt that.
Muttering to herself, she walked into the coffee shop and recited her order to the barista. After paying and waiting for a few minutes, they handed her two coffees. She hadn’t even realized she paid for the order that she and Juno usually got together. “Uh, crap. Okay,” she said, taking both of the coffees. She looked into the room at the others who were there. “Who wants a mocha latte with oat milk?” she called, knowing the coffee would be cold by the time she got it to her sister, so she intended to give it away. She looked to someone she recognized by face. “You want it? Seriously, that was an accident,” she told him.
