She hadn’t even realized she had a neighbor move in, or perhaps he had always been there and due to the recent events she just hadn’t noticed? Again, it just proved how selfish she had been. Normally, she’d have a tray of warm cookies or some sort of sweet, but for now she figured pasta would be a nice gesture, or at least it would be better than showing up empty handed. As she walked towards her neighbor’s house, Avery looked around the neighborhood to see if she had missed out on anything else -- let’s say like new neighbors. When things still seemed the same, she appreciated teh fact that she hadn’t been sucked into her personal life for that long.
As she made her way up the porch of her neighbor’s house, she reached out to ring the doorbell and patiently waited. She did wonder who the person was, whether they had kids or if they were here permanently or not. Would they be friendly? She just hoped he didn’t scare easily, with the events and the chaos brewing and all.
