“Ahh, I’m bored.” Seolhyun complained to herself as she sat down on her desk within the police station. They ordered her to stay there today as everyone else were doing patrols or were on other assignments, leaving her there by herself with nothing to do besides staring at the all too familiar surroundings. A thought crossed her mind that she could always roam around the place, who would stop her? Technically it meant she wasn’t leaving the station, just her desk, and she highly doubt anyone would be coming in screaming for help anytime soon. It was nearly night time anyways and her shift would be over without a couple of more hours. A soft thump could be heard when the young girl walked passed a room, causing her to pause as a small fear creeped up on her. What if the station was haunted? Deciding that it’s best to check it out instead of letting her fears take over, Seolhyun slowly pushed open the door into the see her superior standing there with a startled expression on his face. Her eyes traveled down for a moment as she realized he wasn’t wearing any shirt, causing the girl’s face to heat up in embarrassment as she quickly turned away. “My apologizes, sir!”
There was so much that had happened around Seoul, so many accidents and even deaths surrounding the police force that many of them had retired early for the night, but Donghyuk was not one of them, too exhausted to walk back and only to be welcomed by an empty home that he’d rather spend his nights in the station. It had been too hot that day, even the breeze that was barely noticeable felt warm against his skin, fanning himself with the record book in his hand in an attempt to cool himself. Groans and silent complaints made, he would do anything for air conditioning and a cold glass of beer, if only he had that will to return home for a change of shirt, he would had felt a thousand times better. Left with no better option, the senior officer started unbuttoning his uniform until there was nothing left, slipping his clothing off to his chair as he assumed that no one was around to peek into his office without knocking first, revealing his sweat trickled body in the open, no denying that the hard life had did his body good. But the notion was proved to be wrong as he heard his door creaked open and was welcomed by the sight of an equally surprised female officer. “Uh— do you need anything officer kim?” he asked, addressing the other that had her back on him, grabbing the uniform to cover himself up again.
