Dear lord, she was going to throw up. That was the most prominent thought on her mind as she fiddled with her seat belt. She'd spent almost all morning going through the whole of her wardrobe, trying to muster up the most expensive looking thing she owned within all the crap that she'd purchased over the past few years, in hope that maybe Dalton's suit would match up to her outfit. She'd never met his parents before, but from the looks of her boyfriends choice of attire, it seemed most appropriate to wear something a little more fancier than just a simple top and jeans, which is usually what Tamara would have found herself wearing at any part of every day. "Is it a long drive, babe? I really hope not, I mean, look at me, — I'm already sweating like a freakin' pig." She let out an exasperated huff, picking at her cuticles as if it weren't any more obvious that her nerves were getting the best of her. The thought alone of meeting Dalton's parents was enough to send her into a panic. "I can't even breathe in this god forsaken dress, does it look too tight on me, Dal? Maybe I should have worn the other one? Oh my god, we need to go back right now so I can change." It was almost as if Tamara had lost all sense of her positive attitude, and she mentally slapped herself for even walking out of the door without making sure that everything was perfect. "Cake. I should have baked a cake, or made something at least. Why didn't you tell me that we were staying for dessert?" She ran her fingers through her hair in a frustrated manner, turning to Dalton as if she were begging for some, any, sort of reassurance.
