It had been a long day, and all Andrew really wanted to do was take a long shower and get into his bed. But he still had two more patterns to fix, and a bodice to finish. And so he found himself walking down the street again, for like the fifth time today, as a means of procrastination. He was thinking about what sort of food he might still be able to order at this hour, idly scrolling through the grubhub app as he walked. Andrew walking while on his phone was usually not the best idea, but walking on his phone in the dark? Even worse. The man slowly began to walk into the middle of the street without realizing, and it wasn't until he almost collided with someone walking on the other side did he register his surrounding. "Oh- fuck, sorry." He muttered thoughtlessly, blinking aggressively as his eyes adjusted back to the dark, trying to make out the face before him, "I wasn't.. Phone." He waved the aforementioned thing, "You know how it is."
