The patrol route tonight is a route well travelled, and the cold air bites against Robin’s cheek. The only difference is that the other Titans are on a separate mission, no doubt safe and warm in the Titans’ Tower. He almost envies them for it.

His breath comes from his mouth in a plume of smoke, his eyes scanning the horizons. Despite the stillness of the night, something catches his eye, something colourful, something out of place. “Hello?” He called, hands curling into fists, eyes squinting against the dark. “C’mon, I already saw you.” A lie. “Show yourself!”
