Brian stood outside the bar and looked up at the sky. How the hell was he supposed to start this bullshit all over again? He was almost 40 and now had an ex-wife and a kid on his resume. He though for sure the whole “putting yourself out there” was meant for people at least 10 years younger then he was.
Looking at the people inside the bar he could see he wasn’t completely wrong. Most looked like they were in college or fresh out. Even if he did have something to offer them how would it look being with a guy old enough to be your teacher?
With a sigh he walked back inside and up to the bartender “You got Heineken here?”

Anna was holding a box of pizza, a Taco Bell bag, and a few other snacks in her hands. “Are you sure we’re really gonna need all this?” Not like Anna had much of a clue. The ginger was just curious, and he said they could watch starwars.
