“That looks too big,” Adrian told Hester, scrunching up his nose at the size of the flattened box. Deciding for sure that he was going to move had kicked his ass into gear, and now he was working to get his entire apartment packed up. The sooner he could get out of that hellhole and into somewhere nicer (maybe with Abi), the better things would be. At least if he changed addresses, it would take his dad a while to find him. His multi hued eyes scanned the room, the walls lined with industrial looking shelves that held all sorts of nonsense. He picked up something that looked like a tape dispenser, only with a razor-like edge. “I should get one of these.” He brandished it around, a dull smile on his face. He hadn’t spoken with Hester since the party when he’d been incredibly uncomfortable and awkward. Part of him wanted to ask her whether or not Aurora had said anything about his father stopping by the apartment uninvited, but a larger part was too afraid of what it would mean if she had. @nowhester
