Hi.

I got a call from the hospital in Pakistan and Nadia told me my mom was in the ICU. She’d gotten beat up by “some people” and my sister was just alone, looking after my mom in Pakistan and she’s only sixteen... So I flew out and apparently, the guys that beat her up are part of a gang. She refused to pay them this sort protection money for her ceramic store so... they kicked the shit out of her. After the medical bills, there was no way my mom would have been able to pay those douchebags and they were so deep in with the police that the law wasn’t taking care of them so... I had to.

I called up a favor from a mara I know and they directed me to a vampire. An old one. She turns people that need it, safely and... she turned me. Kept me alive with blood until I was sorta stable and then let me off. I had an address and I’m not... really sure what happened. The memory’s kinda blurry but... I just know that these guys haven’t bothered my mom since. And when my mom was healed up, I came back. Her store’s doing pretty good now and Nadia’s been staying with her.
