“You there, come here for a moment. Lately, you….”
A. Immediately apologize (咄嗟に謝る)
“Why are you apologizing all of a sudden? Honestly, why is it that students are always so nervous the moment they see me?”
B. Run away (走って逃げる)
“Wait…. Now hold it right there! You’re not Tenma-kun, so quit acting so tomboyish!”
C. Approach him (近くまで行く)
“As I thought, you’re looking a bit pale. Knowing when to rest is also part of your job, so you shouldn’t overexert yourself.”
“You seem to be carrying quite a lot of things there. Since you’re a girl, so you should ask someone for assistance when you have so much to carry.”
A. “I’ll ask someone for help when I really need it.” (ひとりでも大丈夫です)
“Listen, it’s your job to ask for help beforehand, understand? Please learn to rely on others more.”
B. “I’m fine on my own.” (困ったら頼みます)
“....Honestly, please stop trying to shoulder everything on your own. I’ll help carry some of it, but you should ask someone next time.”

“I see, so this is the last of it, then. Though that’s still a lot to be moving all at once. Are they for a live….?”
“The student store only sells things that young people would like. There’s nothing here that would go well with sake. What a pain~”
A. “How about bread?” (パンはどうですか?)
“Bread as a side dish, huh…. But that’d just make me feel bloated. Ah, it’s okay, you know you don’t have to stand here listening to this old man talk to himself, right?”
B. “How about snacks?” (スナック菓子はどうですか?)
“Yeah…. It’s a little greasy, but I’ll go with this. You be careful not to have too many snacks either, alright~?”
C. “How about candy?” (駄菓子はどうですか?)
“Ah, I think that would work. Oh, hey, they still sell the candy that was popular back when I was a kid~ ♪”
“Your work as a ‘producer’ is a given, but how are your studies going? Anything you need help with?”
A. “I ask my upperclassmen for help.” (先輩聞いたりしています)
“Oh? So you’ve made friends with the upperclassmen, huh? If you learn to get close to them, that’ll take you places, you know~”
B. “I want to know about idols.” (アイドルのことを聞きたいです)
“So you want the insight of a veteran idol, huh? But it was like a different era back when I was active, so wouldn’t you be better off asking an idol from this era?”
C. “I want to know what’s on the next test.” (次のテスト範囲が知りたいです)
“Alright, the next text will cover chapters…. What, you really think I’d tell you? You gotta use your experience and instincts to figure that out on your own ♪”
he comes home with blood on his shoes and his ear pressed against his phone. that no one has pointed out the obvious stain on expensive brown leather suggests that they’re either afraid to ask, or that people are just really, really stupid. ( he settles with both. ) he doesn’t notice that there’s a familiar bag on the seat around an unnecessarily long dining table, or that the shower is on; already he’s booking a flight to hong kong to meet with partners, and it’s only when he opens the wardrobe does he realise that there’s a big hunk of luggage blocking the way to his own.
huh.
“qian?” it can’t be anyone else’s. but after recent events, and despite an upgrade in his security, one simply cannot be too sure. “are you home?”
It may have been an early morning but it was so worth it. That hot air balloon ride was one of the best things I've ever experienced. A little scary because you're so high up and you're not really wearing any safety things but still worth it. A once in a lifetime thing. Have you done anything here that's like completely out of your comfort zone? @seokjinklm
it wasn’t that he was jealous. the man song qian came with was a regular, and seokjin took pride in the fact. but it was more so qian’s presence that irked him, and since he couldn’t exactly skin the man alive himself, jin took the next best option: making sure to show the older male how well he could do it. hypothetically speaking.
pleasantries aside, jin called for his knives, and the meat. the material for art was before him. the camera was trained on him -- he made a mental note to pay the guy extra later -- and, gripping onto one end of the red slab, he ran his palm through it, and slapped it twice, before reaching for his knife, and sliced off the fat with a clean, polished flourish, making eye contact with the older man at the end of it: a threat, carried in style.
seokjin hadn’t meant to get in a fight with his usual tormentors. they’re bigger than him, for one, and allowing them to have their fun with him meant that the status quo is still upheld, and all the talented youngsters that this facility gathers under its roof knows their place, and understands the division of power sans respect.
but today’s a particularly warm day; inescapable, it seems, even in the halls of the facility, leagues under the earth. the fluorescent lights give him a headache; the noise in the mess hall even more so. jin’s only just gotten back from a mission, and a long one at that -- all hush-hush, as everything in this place is -- and his tormentors, in their usual ignorant fashion, know nothing of it, and make the unfortunate mistake of choosing today to flip his tray over, spilling his lunch on his white uniform.
jin hadn’t thought twice about throwing a punch. what he hadn’t expected then was for qian to join in the fray, and now she’s gotten in trouble for it.
foolish.
“you look like crap,” he tells her through the plexi-glass separating them. he’s given a new set of clothes, but he still smells food on his skin. later, he’ll shower. now, his knees are pulled up to his chest, as if that’ll mask the scent. it’s not like she’ll smell it from there, anyway. “why’d you fight them? aren’t they your friends?”

(All the “Ra*bits” members blame themselves for Tomoya’s situation, while Jin tries to encourage them all that the show must go on.)
[Location: Infirmary]
Jin: Ah~ Yeah. It’s fine, I think Mashiro’s just fatigued, that’s all.
Anzu, could you help prepare the drip? Actually, nevermind, I’ll take care of it. You seem on the verge of collapsing from fatigue, too. You’re still young, so you should take it easy.
Actually, Anzu, what are you doing here in the infirmary?
Weren’t you busy with the preparations for some DreamFes? As much I appreciate your help around here.
You shouldn’t be wasting your time here. Go and get back to the preparations, “Producer”-chan.
And “Ra*bits,” I’m talking to you guys, too. I understand you’re worried about your fellow member, but you should prioritize your work.
I’ll look after Mashiro. Well, you should let him sit this one out. He needs his rest, just in case.
Once Mashiro wakes up, I’ll explain everything to him.
Mitsuru: S-Sagami-sensei! Is Tomo-chan okay? He’s not gonna die?
Jin: He’s not dying, don’t worry. But it’s still a bother for you all to be making such a fuss next to a resting patient, so you guys should head out, too.
As for Nito, though, there’s some things I want to talk to you about, so come see me in the Staff Room later.
Nazuna: Ah, right! It’s my responsibility as a leader that Tomo-chin collapsed, after all!
But, I’m glad that Tomo-chin’s alright…. I was worried because it really seemed like he was dead for a minute~
Anyway, I called Wataru-chin to make sure, and it turns out it was one of his pranks!
Jin: Looks like I’ll need to have a word with Hibiki later, too. What a bother….
That guy never listens to anything the teachers say, anyway. Geniuses are such a pain~ They’re always trying to act like they’re grown up for no reason.
Well, whatever. Anyway, I looked over your proposal.
So, this “Mystery Stage” that you’ll all be participating in is a DreamFes that will be held over a one week period, right?
If you mess up from the very beginning, all the effort and resources you’ve put in for that whole week will go to waste.
Right now, you guys shouldn’t be here worrying about your friend.
You need to do your jobs, and stand up on stage. This might sound harsh, but when something bad happens to your health, it’s your own fault.
It’s Mashiro’s own fault for working until he collapsed, but if the rest of you lose the job because of that, it’s going to be a serious “failure” on his part.
If you really care about your friend, then go up there and shine on the stage brightly enough to make up for his absence. With that said, off you go.
Anzu, and Nito, I hope you two don’t overwork these kids too much.
Nazuna: Right…. We’ll leave Tomo-chin to you, Sagami-sensei.
Let’s go, you guys. The “auditorium” will be our stage. There’s not much time before it starts, and we’ll have to get right into it once we get there, but let’s hurry, alright~?
Mitsuru: Eh? Nii-chan, weren’t we going to have lessons in the soundproof practice room? I haven’t heard anything about getting up on stage?
Nazuna: No, I’m sure I explained it before. Didn’t I tell you that we had a job where we’ll be back dancers for another “unit”?
Today’s lesson was supposed to be a last-minute rehearsal for that.
Mitsuru: Okay, I got it now! So that’s why we’ve been doing so many dance lessons lately, huh?
Nazuna: Huh? What else could it have been for…. Mitsuru-chin, you should use your head more often. When it comes to you, everything else is far above average, except for what’s inside your head, you know?
Hajime-chin, you too. Quit draping yourself over Tomo-chin’s torso and bawling your eyes out….
It makes it look like Tomo-chin’s on his deathbed, so it’s not a good omen, you know~?
Hajime: Hic, hic. It’s my fault that Tomoya-kun collapsed…. It’s because Tomoya-kun was kind enough to help me with my part-time job.
I must have worked him too hard. Even though he told me about how the show for the Drama Club is soon, and he’s been very busy with rehearsals, I was so happy for his help that I took advantage….
But Tomoya-kun is just too kind…. He saw how much work I had, and offered to lend a hand! It’s always like this, always!
Uwaaaah, Tomoya-kuuun! I’ll…. I’ll take responsibility for this and marry you, Tomoya-kun!
Nazuna: What the heck are you going on about? Don’t cry~ Hajime-chin. We have a live coming up, but your eyes are all puffy now~
Come on, get up and let’s get going. Let’s do our best at work~
Hajime: No! I can’t~! If Tomoya-kun isn’t there! If he isn’t smiling there beside me….!
Nazuna: ….Mitsuru-chin. Drag Hajime-chin along with you and let’s head for the stage, alright~?
Mitsuru: O-okay. Hajime-chan, don’t cry…. I think I’m partly to blame for Tomo-chin collapsing, too.
It’s because Tomo-chan was always helping me studying, or taking care of me.
Nazuna: If we’re talking about whose fault it is, I’m to blame, too. Tomo-chin often came to me for personal lessons.
I was happy that he was so ambitious…. I must have been too strict, and pushed him too hard.
A lot of factors led up to this happening. It’s my fault for not noticing soon enough.
But we’ll discuss this afterwards. If we don’t hurry, we’re really gonna be late~
I had to beg Leo-chin to let us have a joint live with “Knights.”
This is a chance for “Ra*bits” to make a breakthrough.
“Knights” doesn’t involve themselves with other “units” much, either~ If we let this chance go, there might not be a next time.
Tomo-chin’s absence is harder on us than I thought it’d be, but we’ll have to pull something off with the rest of us.
The “Mystery Stage” will be going on for a while, so Tomo-chin can join us once he recovers.
If, by then, we’re in a really bad spot, that’s when Tomo-chin is really gonna lose face.
Let’s go, everyone. Even when it’s tough, let’s go with our cute smiles…. That’s what it means to be “Ra*bits.”
Mugyu?! Anzu, don’t cling to me! I can’t move! What’s wrong with you all of a sudden?! A-are you crying, too?
It’ll be fine! Nii-chan will take care of this somehow or other!
Jin: Haha. I told you guys to quit making so much noise in the infirmary.
I’ll be here to mend any broken bones, so go and give it your all.
I know I said some harsh things, but when it comes down to it, I’m rooting for all of you.
Do your best, you brats. Let the blood and sweat flow, wipe away those tears. And when you go down, make sure you’re facing forward~ Or is that all too old-fashioned?
Jin srunched up his nose at the comment and contemplated the beat for a moment. Jumping into the centre, he showed off one of his few infamous moves, because really, what did these kids think? “Bet you regret saying I wouldn’t dance, huh?” Jimin clapped his hands together, laughing as his body shook in movement as he watched his hyung. Tae was laughing as well, a hand over his mouth. And Yoongi had just a shit eating grin on his face and a hand on his temple, looking like he was suffering from second hand embarrassment.
