Gianluca contemplated moving back to Italy after what happened with Carlota. He cried to his mother about how badly he fucked up and how he ruined the best thing he ever had and in his state of depression, he suggested that maybe they should just go back home live in their little hometown where everything was much simpler. That thought was literally slapped out of him as his mother told him that was the worst idea he could have ever thought of and she wasn’t going to let him run away from his problems.
Tashi doesn’t understand relationships, she works so hard that she never had any time on her hands to pursue a proper one let alone a long distance relationship. So when she got together with Jenny she didn’t know what was too clingy, too standoffish etc and with work plus their different time zones, she was having a rough time figuring out if she was doing everything right or not even though she really wanted this relationship to work out.
Mary gets homeschooled by her parents during the summer break away from Hogwarts because they don’t fully believe in or understand what this life she’s been brought into is. She goes along with it because she loves them and craves their approval more than anything else but she is sure that they want her to go on and live a normal muggle life as a doctor or lawyer or any other job that will pay well and after starting at Hogwarts she knows that isn’t what she wants.
