Milo’s teeth tugged on his bottom lip as he ran a hand through his messy curls. There was only one table with room left in the library, but he wasn’t entirely sure he wanted to bother the other. Still, he had an essay to finish and his housemates were rather distracting. 

“I uh, sorry to bother you, but do you mind if I sit here? I swear I’ll be quiet -- just everywhere else is full,” He mumbled, smiling sheepishly at her.

Lakeyn opened pushed open the doors to the shop and stepped through, still looking like she got hit by a bus, emotionally and physically, she stepped up to the front counter. "Hey, I am looking to get a tattoo." She said softly, grief and anxiety written all over her face.

“Oh thank Merlin you’re here,” Juliet grinned at her friend, flopping in the empty seat across from the girl. With most people home for the break, Juliet found herself bored. She’d visited her uncles once or twice, but they were mostly busy with work. “I’m bored shitless, so you’re going to stop whatever this is that you’re doing,” Juliet waved her hands towards what Brielle had been doing before she’d interrupted her. “And we are going to go out. Or something. I haven’t decided yet.”

     brielle was initially ecstatic that she was the one who got to do the interview, being that she was only an intern at the magazine. she knew this could be her chance to get a permanent job if it went well. even though she knew the other’s reputation, it wasn’t until she met them that she realized why no one else at the office wanted to do the interview. “can you please just answer the questions?” she finally snapped. “the sooner you answer the questions, the sooner we can both leave.” although this was her big shot, she couldn't wait to be done dealing with the other.
