«Send 😭 to meet my muse as a lost child»
Well, it was official. Amane had completely and utterly found herself in an unfamiliar part of town, with nothing but her school bag and a dead cell phone in her possession. Finding a way to the library was supposed to be easy, she thought, standing on tiptoes to try and catch a sign of where exactly she was.
What she didn’t expect to see, however, was the slightest glimpse of a shock of white hair, walking swiftly in the opposite direction. It was him. It had to be.
Like a good detective, she followed, her short legs having to make awkward strides to keep up, let alone gain on him. As soon as she’d cleared a crowd of people, she broke into a slight trot, eyes trained on the back of his head. There was no mistaking it now.
“Ry-ou!” Amane called, wondering if he could hear her over the busy road. He kept walking, bag slung nonchalantly over his shoulder. Huh. Guess he didn’t. Figuring a more direct approach was necessary, she started running, shoes slapping lightly on the sidewalk as she finally caught up to him and caught his middle in a hug. Her face was red and breath uneven, even as she felt him stiffen in her arms.
“Where have you been? I’ve been so worried!”
