Flashback II Dahlia + Dani

Dahlia took a deep calming breath as she checked her appearance in the mirror one last time, then she let her brother shoo her out of their apartment and headed down the street to the Bed and Breakfast for her job interview. “Ok, Dahlia, remember to be a people person. Despite the fact that you dislike most people because most people of insincere assholes who just want things to go their way in their time for their own gratification.” She paused to take another deep breath and shake her head before smoothing her hair back from her face. “Do not say that in your interview. You need a job because you need money therefore you can pretend to be a people person.” She fixed a plastic smile on her face as she neared the B&B and straightened her spine to appear more confident. As soon as she entered she made her way to the front counter. “Hello. I’m Dahlia Brennon, I’m here for a job interview? Is the manager here?” She could only pray that her smile looked sincere and not as fake as it felt.

Dani walked into her best friends house, throwing her hand bag onto the couch “I need you to make out with me.” She blurted out, she’d had a whole speech she’d planned on her way over, but as soon as she saw the other she couldn’t hold back. She wanted her confusing to be over, so that she could be happy with her boyfriend and stop having thoughts about girls.
