Dear Daya,

In the final year of my term as the Mayor of this city, you are the person who has had the single largest impact.  You took an immense risk to help me down this path of self discovery, and treated me with dignity and respect.  Perhaps my words my ring in hyperbole, but I am being serious when I speak to how deeply your actions have affected me.  I still have so much to learn about life as a Switch, but you took my hand and guided me in the beginning when so much was still so uncharted, and you did so with grace.  We both have been through so much, and who knows what is to come, but I will carry in my heart until the day I die what you’ve done for me.  You’re an incredible person, Daya Ray, and I am blessed to have you as a friend.

I wish you, your family and Jasper a happy, healthy and safe holiday.

WHAT: Margaux calls on Daya to deliver a message to Harper.

WHERE: Margaux’s Garden Play Pad; a luxury apartment in The Garden

WHEN: 02 August 2019; Late afternoon

Annoyed by the childish insults and needling from Harper, Margaux realized that perhaps rather than lowering herself to Harper’s level, she’d allow her actions to speak louder than words.  

Noticing Harper’s words of concern toward the taciturn non-dominant, Daya, on the main, Margaux orders her guards to fetch the young woman.  Thankfully, Daya simply agrees to show up on her own.

Margaux is perfectly cordial toward the non-dominant, and explains that she needs to send a message to Harper.  Instructing Daya to follow her, Margaux leads her into her playroom, where she’d already set out some of her favorite medical play kits.

“This won’t take long, and I’ll even provide you with transportation to Miss Sinclair’s.”  

Silently, she undoes a few buttons of Daya’s blouse, and lightly wipes with some iodine at a small patch of skin a few inches beneath her right clavicle.  As the disinfectant dries, she turns to write the words “Do not fuck with me. --MM” on a small sheet of paper.

She dons a new pair of gloves and produces a small, sterling silver device, and positions the paper where she’d just cleaned.

Click, click, click, click.  Four surgical staples are pushed into the skin in quick succession; one at each corner of the small note. Daya hardly flinches as her skin is punctured--Margaux, admittedly, is impressed.  Encasing the note with a small piece of gauze and tape, Margaux buttons Daya’s blouse once more.  

“Be a dear and deliver this message for me.  Thank you.”

With that, a pair of guards arrive and escort Daya to the awaiting car, just outside the building.

Text: I’m all right.  Just laying low, and keeping my head down until the trial.  As for Nora, she’s a little rattled, but doing well, considering.  I just wish she’d have taken a moment to think.

Who: @dayaray & Henri What: Hours after learning of Officer Webers demise, Daya drags herself to the Lombary, to help out an equally distressed Mayor Winters. Where: The Lombardy Hotel When: 16 July; 9PM Warnings:  None.

Daya arrived at the Lombardy as usual, discreet and dressed so she didn’t look out of place. The doorman wasn’t surprised to see her and handed her the same envelope of cash that he had before, only this one was slightly thicker. Double was correct, and she was professional enough not to count or gawk at the money.

Meanwhile, Henri dragged her weary body to her bed; emotional exhaustion manifesting in slumped shoulders, flat hair, and taut skin over her ribs.  Stripping naked, she awaited Daya’s arrival.

Daya ascended to the penthouse, with her emotions in turmoil internally. However her face showed nothing but stony stoicism as she entered. An obedient Henri was waiting as requested, and Daya told her to pick a toy, whatever she thought she would enjoy the most.  Henri exercised restraint still; passing over one of her oversized dildos for a smaller one.  She returned to the bed, and placed the toy on her bedside table alongside some lube.

Dragging a chair over, Daya ordered Henri to lay back on the bed and begin edging herself, but she was not allowed to cum until Daya said to. Silence stretched on between them, with only the quiet sounds that Henri made punctuating the time.  Henri did her best, but the energy in the room felt off.  Tense.  

After a half hour had passed, Henri was trembling--on the very edge of a climax--but Daya was relentless.  And did not permit the Mayor to cum.  Every touch to her cunt had Henri’s hips bucking up in response.

Daya began to ask questions of the Mayor. Why she had suspended Aidan, whether there were any leads in the investigation, what was going on with The Nameless. What was going on with the V shot. She relied on Henri’s split concentration in order to get more out of the Mayor than she might have otherwise risked.

Aidan was suspended for being unprofessional, Henri admitted.  The way she engaged the terrorist-protegee Julia Cross.  And for supposedly making an enemy.  How did Henri know that said enemy would actually strike?  Tears pricked at the corners of the Mayor’s eyes; she sent Aidan to her death.

She had nothing to offer on The Nameless...other than she knew about them long before the first hacking occurred.  But other than that?  Nothing.

The V Shot...Henri chewed her lip as she continued to edge herself through the interrogation.  She admitted to purposefully stonewalling Jacob’s efforts.  To give the Switches just a taste...but to what end?  The law was the law and the shots would eventually return.  Henri hung her head in shame.  She tried.

The questions continued, and Henri still wasn’t allowed to come.  This began to feel more like a punishment...and perhaps, it was deserved.

The questions weren’t subtle, and with each answer, Daya only grew more frustrated at how little anyone knew. If the Mayor didn’t know anything, then what hope was there for the rest of them?

Finally after two long hours, and her questions exhausted, Daya relented, allowing Henri to have her release. She felt sick to her stomach at how callously she had acted but between the stress of the blackout and Freddie’s flu, and the announcement of Aidan’s murder at Marcelo’s hands, Daya felt like her entire soul had been scooped out and thrown into a blender before being poured back into her. Everything was off just slightly, with the whole world moving on while Daya was drowning, and no one stopped to offer a hand.

But Daya wasn’t cruel, and she carefully helped Henri sit up, brushing her hair out of her face and murmuring soft praises to her.  Daya administered proper aftercare, even if she was a bit distant.  Though she’d never dare admit it aloud, Henri’s climax wasn’t as strong as she’d liked; likely buffeted by the perfect storm of shame, stress, and sadness.  Daya moved to make her leave, preparing to stand up, but Henri halted her with a hand, fisting some of younger woman’s shirt, gently tugging it upward.   

Don’t go yet, Henri tacitly pleaded with the motion, and shifted over a little on the enormous bed, a gesture of invitation.  Daya understood, and allowed the Mayor to remove the garment.  Their roles shifting, Henri tenderly stripped the Switch and climbed over her body.  And one thing led to another, eventually leaving the pair a sweaty, tangled mess of limbs and tousled hair.  

Tear streaks dried on both of their faces.

Daya eventually left a slumbering Henri tucked into bed, and she departed the Lombardy, $1000 richer and feeling emptier than ever.
