Kat got off the plane and exited to baggage claim. It was a huge airport, easy to get lost. She was settled on the escalator when she thought she saw a familiar face. No... Kat was taking a taxi to his place as Emerson had rehearsal today.

Despite his exhaustion from conditioning and rehearsal, Emerson had decided to surprise Kat at the airport. He'd been there for thirty minutes, drank two Starbucks coffees, and had shopped around a bit when he checked his watch, realizing her plane would be landing. Soon enough, he saw her tiny figure approaching on the escalator and gave her a friendly wave when he thought he may have caught her eye.
