As always the office was in full swing, showing no signs of slowing down any time soon--but Graham liked it that way. He liked staying busy, leaving little time for his mind to wander too far. That and it would make him tired and that would help him to sleep.
“Alright, Mrs. Holden--just make sure Percy gets his medicine every night and he should be fine in about a week.” he said, patting the shoulder of an older owner, whose poodle was always having some kind of ailment.
After she’d left, Graham turned to his receptionist, hands on his hips. “Now, who’s next?” she gave him a knowing grin which he didn’t understand until she gave him the name. Sampson Atkinson. Ah, again? Graham chuckled and shook his head. “Send her in.”
He was waiting on the other side of the examining table when she entered with the pup, a charming grin on his features. “What seems to be ‘ol Sam Sam’s problem today, Journey?” he asked, quirking a brow in good humor.
