Notice: If Cassidy gifts your character any jewellery, it’s probably imbued with vervain and will protect your character against vampires compelling your character. Basically, if she gives your character jewellery, she’s trying to protect them in some way.

31:Secret stashes?

Emergency Jerky. I wish I was kidding but I wholeheartedly believe Ike has a stash of jerked beef, chicken, and other meats in case he gets a craving.

10:Who is their best friend?

Canonically in Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn, Ike’s best friend is Soren. The boy has been around for most of his life and he would probably have a hard time being a leader without him.

Within the realms of Smash, however, I haven’t given Ike anyone he’s particularly close to, though I can easily see him getting along with certain people i.e: Peach, Marth, Lucina, Link, Zelda, Palutena, Pit, etc…

12:Do they have a rivalry with someone?

Ike has a misguided tendency to avoid anyone in Smash that’s inherently evil. Primarily that would be Ganondorf, seeing as he’s more than likely the most ruthless competitor.

Healthy Rivalries would be Little Mac, Roy, Lucina, Link… etc.

24:Opinion towards others?

Ike’s opinion towards others is defined only by their actions.

He has accepted all walks of life into the ranks of the Greil Mercenaries, including his own enemies from Daein. He does not judge anyone by their upbringing, race, sex, gender, or anything out of their control.

While he is somewhat judgemental, he is by no means prejudice and is quick to trust others. Even those who have wronged him get by rather easily. The only time Ike would ever think otherwise is if someone could not repent for something unforgiveable such as harming innocents, or even worse, those close to him.

His accepting nature has caused several spats with the groups tactician Soren, and often it is Soren who has to put people in their place as Ike is much too soft to do it on his own when not provoked.

1:Does your character have parents?

Ike’s parents, Elena and General Gawain Greil have since both passed on. Both of his parents were born in the country of Daein. Ike has fond memories of his mother, though they are few and far between. Having learned of her death, and witnessing the death of his father by the infamous Black Knight, Ike looks after his only family left, his young sister Mist. She is his only blood relative left.

Despite his parent’s tragic ends, he often considers certain members of his mercenary group family. Titania had often been motherly towards Ike and he respects her just as if she were his own mother.

2:What is their experience as a child?

As a child growing up in the beast laguz country of Gallia, Ike had always seen the world in color. His parents raised him to be kind, caring and compassionate in a world where discrimination between the Laguz and Beorc (humans) run rampant, Ike has never been one to show any sign of prejudice, even as a child.

Ike remembers very little of his time in Gallia as a child. Certain memories such as playing with his sister, learning the ways of the sword by his father’s lesson, saving and meeting his friend Ranulf, and the lullabies his mother would sing to him are still very pertinent in his mind. Beyond that however, he recalls nothing.

30:Are they healthy?

Generally, Ike is a rather healthy person. He does not succumb to illness very easily, though when he does, he is seriously down for the count. The man is a bit stubborn in both body and mind, and refuses to allow illnesses to slow him down, which often leads to him being scolded by Titania.

32:How do they express themselves?

Ike expresses himself through his actions. Ike initially is quite defensive when meeting people, if only to gauge their trustworthiness. Though once that has been established he is somewhat open with his feelings, speaking rather bluntly about even the most mundane topics.

Beyond his sword, Ike is dreadful at most other things. He has no artistic, creative, or writing abilities, though has been known to sing. While he isn’t the best singer, it is at least tolerable enough to put Mist to sleep as child.
