{ @ofquondam + Laurel }
He wouldn't say he was bored, no, never. Because if he did, he would get the look, that one he avoided with all his might. His mother had raised him better for sure, and he wasn't here to upset Laurel in any way. So he kept quiet, even if he had run out of teleporter energy on minion rush and had to wait an hour to get more. He had run out of lives on candy crush and the Wi-Fi in this building sucked. He had scrolled down Facebook and Twitter and Instagram, and he had made silly comments on Adam's ridiculous selfies. There wasn't much he could do to distract himself anymore.
They had agreed to go out for dinner, but there had been some emergency, something about a case. And so there he was, waiting for her, as he had been for about two hours. A long sigh escaped him as he looked at his phone once again to check the hour, realizing he was on his way to three hours. This was why people texted -- he would have no issues waiting for her somewhere else, like his apartment with a nice TV and good internet connection.
If anyone asked, he would deny having ever fallen asleep. But it was the sound of heels clicking on the floor what brought him back, and she had to blink a little to focus and realize where he was before looking up. A smile tugged at his lips, the most ridiculous one and Tommy couldn't help it. "My, Laurel, you are a sight for sore eyes." And she truly was, as he had been dying out of boredom and she had come to save him. "I hope you’re hungry because I will eat anything as long it's food." He pressed a kiss to her cheek when they met and grinned down at her.
