Octavia had barely been able to slip away into the woods on her own. She loved her brother and had missed him more than anyone could ever understand, but Octavia was sick of being on a fucking leash. She had been kept under the floor for so long, that now with the delinquents she wanted things to be different, she wanted to be different. It didn’t seem so crazy to want to fit in somewhere, and she couldn’t do that with Bellamy forbidding her to walk ten steps from the dropship at all times. She had made it a ways out when she hears movement behind her.
“Look whoever it is can turn around and go back, and regardless of what you think I’m not going with you.” She knew it wasn’t Bellamy, he was much too forward, and he would have grabbed her before she made it this far, and hauled her back against her will. “Must be exciting to have this opportunity to please my big brother, by bringing me right back to him, but don’t even try. You won’t be successful. So you can either turn around or stop being a coward and show yourself.”
