Ahh, freak out! Without a doubt, Chic's "Le Freak" is nothing short of disco dynamite. But it's the rest of the tracks that Nile 'The Hitmaker' Rodgers and Bernard 'Bass Authority' Edwards fashion around it that make the group's second album, C'est Chic (1978), stand out from the imitators of the time. It's all about the groove, and "(Funny) Bone's" smooth, complimentary pairing of strings and bass paves the way for what's sure to be plenty of more good times.
