benjamin had kept things relatively casual when it came to his love life. it was a lot easier to focus on the things he had felt were important in his life. like being a thirty year old man trying to make a name for himself not attached to his mother. however it seemed like the more he put himself out there for work the more people just loved to have him around to boast and brag at how much they truly loved all of his mothers work. it was exhausting and frustrating that he could never seem to get past it. tonight his buddies had pulled him out to an event after party that he really didn't want to go to. he was stressed from the meeting prior that day and would have preferred to just get drunk on his own. however as he nursed the last beer in the pack he had brought with him he had seen her. his eyes had stayed on her but he felt a fire began to grow inside of him when he saw another man wrap his arm around her. surely she wasnt here with someone else? the two of them had been keeping it casual but that didn't mean she had to show up here with him. trying to shake off the anger by grabbing a beer from his buddy he popped the top off when he had seen her heading up the stairs with him.
over his dead body, or may the guy who couldnt keep his hands off her as they climbed inch by inch to the top. sitting the beer down benny felt his feel push off the ground and no sooner he had rounded the top of the stairs himself pushing open the door. "what the hell is this?" was all he said as he stood in the doorframe.
