the poster barely holds together as the girl runs down the stairs, ready to show her project to her mother. oh, the girl is tired, did she spend a lot of time working on it last night; but it has been worth it. “ MOMMY! ” sophie almost trips in her rush down the stairs, catching herself just in time --- HOWEVER, the poster hits the floor, unfolding and showing many pictures of italy along with some short texts. geography has never been her favorite subject, but learning about a different country turned out to be extremely exciting. everything is exciting when it is something different than the island, even though she loved it a lot.
donna must have heard her almost-fall because a second after picking up the poster, the older blonde appears in front of her, asking if she is alright. “ i’m fine! mommy, will you look at my project? it’s all done NOW!! ”
