“What?” Zoey screeched a bit, the tiny blonde wasn’t one for arguing... but she wouldn’t put up with this. “It’s a business trip to New York! Why are you making this out to be a big deal?” The blonde demanded with a frown, crossing her arms over her chest. “You get to come with me for the week! It’s literally not a big deal so why the fuck don’t you want me to go?”

“All I’m saying is that sushi is way better than pizza,” Billie muses as she pops yet another bite of sushi into her mouth, humming dramatically in content as jade hues flutter shut before laughter falls from her lips. “Pizza is still good but definitely not number one.”

A dog here at Jericho? Having an animal running around might not be a good idea but North isn’t equipped with caring for one. Meaning she never had to deal with a live animal before. Even when she was on the run before finding her safe haven she only saw a few street dogs. Stray cats were more prominent slinking around the alleyways of the city. 

North crossed arms over her chest. Her posture is hardly defensive but it’s a habit when she is pondering. Either that or putting hands on her hips. If she still wore her LED there would have been a visible yellow to contest her struggle to decide. 

“Logan, have you ever cared for a dog? I mean they’re flesh and blood. You have to feed them or they’ll die.” She didn’t want a small puppy winding up starving. They would have to start going out and making hauls for dog food. “Maybe. A big maybe. Just - I don’t have experience with animals. But -” She glanced across the room towards Rupert. “I know someone who does.”

“You can see the world you’ve brought to life..” Madeline smiled softly as a tiny hand rested soundly on her bump. Destiny was running around in the backyard and life was good. It was happy...it was everything she always wanted but she never, ever expected it to be this way. “What’re you waiting for?” Madeline asked as she looked over at him, they were sitting out on the porch just...talking. Planning for the newest family member growing inside of her and she couldn’t help but to smile softly. “Here..come on then.” She reached over for his much larger hand. “You’ll miss him kicking...here, feel.”

“Desi! Wait for mommy!” She called after the happy toddler who went running up the walkway as she grabbed her suitcase and followed after her. They would’ve been here sooner but, well, breakfast hadn’t sat well with her and the littlest one. As she walked up to the front door, seeing Logan and Destiny hugging, the little one was happy because they were moving in with daddy. “Oi..” She just felt so ill this morning. “Do you have any tums?” She asked him as she put their big suitcase by the doorway and shrugged out of her peacoat.

Reyna had Destiny for the night...and Madeline was going to Logan’s place to have a chat. She had so many things to tell him, one of which being something monumental in both of their lives, along with the fact she was soon-to-be-homeless. But should she tell him about the...well the... “Shoot.” She mumbled looking down and brushing her hands over her dress as he poured wine, she totally tuned out everything he had just said to her. “Logan...I...” She couldn’t drink and she stared at the glass given to her with disdain. “We need to talk.” She finally blurted out, lost between the present and the last time she told him this.

Madeline...well she quit her job. After talking with Logan she came to realize that if she didn’t actively start showing him that she wasn’t against him having time with Destiny (along with the fact Lisa wouldn’t be around..) she would try harder. So, yesterday morning she quit her job and somehow managed to make it onto and airplane with Destiny to go and see Logan’s game. Thing is he didn’t know they were coming since Madeline managed to convince him it just wasn’t a good idea, things weren’t lining up. But seeing Destiny curled up asleep in her toddler jersey, well, the young mother made the decision that they were going, and well, here they were. Madeline was sitting besides Logan’s mother, the banner she and Destiny made on the flight over on their laps and she was grinning like an idiot because she had forgotten how much fun this was. After all, the highlights of her day? Watching Sesame street with Destiny. So, when she saw Logan in their huddle, she picked Destiny up and they were waving like idiots. Destiny screaming that she loved her daddy and that she told him to win. “Come on Logan, you got this!” Madeline found herself egging him on, it was almost like they were in high school all over again. Except they had a toddler and were fighting a couple nights ago...but she forgot all about it right now.

Harleen grunted as Logan looked at her wound. She’d been mugged, and while the mugger had wound up in worst shape, he’d gotten a lucky stab in with a knife and left a deep gash on her side. “Sure it is,” she gasped through the pain. “I’ve had worse.”
