“My parents death was an accident, Lord El Melloi. I’m sure I don’t know what you’re implying.” She sounds terribly defensive-- For a girl who has just lost her parents, she doesn’t even seem to have it in her to pretend to be grieving. “-- I’m sorry. I don’t mean to snap at you, sir. I wasn’t going to miss valuable lectures just to see to an estate and a funeral I can manage from the clock tower. I know it seems callous, and many have said suspicious. But I cannot afford to fall behind.”
